my name is Sydney Ruiz. I’m a 24-year-old woman who still struggles with herself but is so sure of everything beyond that. I’ve been writing since childhood, and it’s been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I’m highly opinionated, stubborn, and argumentative in defense of the my values and morals, and I’m never afraid to stand my ground in search of higher truths.

I started this SubStack because I have a lot to say about anything and everything. This space is my mix of a personal diary, a political column, and an opinionated blog.

I advocate for all systemically marginalized groups, and I firmly believe that if we were all a little bit more aware and empathetic towards those around us, coexisting would be a lot less complicated.
